I love alphabet books and the crazy words people use to illustrate different letters, so as I find fun ones, I’ll share them in weekend posts.
I don’t really think the order matters, so we’re starting with the letter V, brought to us this week by Once Upon An Alphabet by Oliver Jeffers. It’s a great book that creates a story for each letter (and some running stories and gags throughout the book).
Since it’s a tiny image with a lot of words, this is what the text says:
V
Victor was used to being victorious.
But recently he was defeated
and retreated into hiding under
the stairs where he sits, plotting
his vengeance.
So, there’s V. Beware of Victor’s vengeance!
